Just thought I'd better post an update on what I've doing these last few months..haven't been posting much in a while ,I've been working on mini paintings for Fiverr.com. I'm also working on a few private commissions as well as a Beatles piece for Carter Sexton. Well,back to work! ;)

"Somewhere in Saskatchewan"

 9" x 12" watercolor on Saunders Waterford 300lb rough watercolor paper.A friend of my boyfriend goes back to Saskatchewan every so often to visit his mom and friends,and he took a few photos this time.I asked if I could use them for reference,and he agreed. I loved the one I did this painting of because I was looking to capture the simplicity of the scene-a few lone barns and the nearest neighbor is probably a mile away.

 8' x 10" pastel on board. I did this pastel portrait as a  commission for a friend of mine's mom for her beloved dog who passed a little while ago.Their chair is a family favorite as well.

"A Day at the Lake"

                                                          We have a lovely place nearby called Woodley Park.There's a lake  with ducks ,people picnic there,ride their small boats and some even have their remote control boats and planes.. Lots of water,trees and marshland. I saw this crane ,just sitting there watching the world go by,so i did this pastel of him/her and his/her surroundings.
