This is a commission for a friend of mine.It's pastel on orange colored canson paper..8" x 10". This is of his brother who passed earlier this year and his 2 dogs.

This is my latest..oil on canvas board 14" x 18".I painted Tomiko in pastel years ago for a commission,and I've been wanting to do another of her in oil.

This is my latest commission for my neighbor..he gave this to his wife as a Birthday present. I usually take pictures before I frame my paintings,but because it was supposed to be a surprise I didn't want to take a chance taking it out and having her see it too soon.. Anyway..here it is ..sorry for the glare..it's pastel on canson paper-about 22" x 28".

I working on a new project -to see if I can work on 1 6"x 8" piece each day and see how much I can do in an hour...saw this exercise in the "Fill Your Oil Paintings with Light and Color" book by Kevin D. Macpherson.

Sitting in the Flowers

I finished this one yesterday-it's an 8" x 10' oil on canvas.I saw this picture on my friend's site on Facebook..it's of her little step-granddaughter,and as soon as I saw it I knew I had to paint it,so i asked her permission and she said of course,and it turned into a commission for another painting of her youngest daughter. Just have a few little touch ups ,but I always seem to end up doing that..
