Sitting in the Flowers

I finished this one yesterday-it's an 8" x 10' oil on canvas.I saw this picture on my friend's site on Facebook..it's of her little step-granddaughter,and as soon as I saw it I knew I had to paint it,so i asked her permission and she said of course, and it turned into a commission for another painting of her youngest daughter. Just have a few little touch ups ,but I always seem to end up doing that..

Queen Ween On the Dresser

this is another one of our cats..her name is Weinerskittels or "Queen Ween".She truly acts sometimes like a queen. She's part Maine Coon ,and I wanted to capture the softness of her fur and also the smooth shiny surface of the dresser. It's 8" x 10" oil on linen
I added a second better photo..touched up her face a little..it's the first one that's newer..

This is charcoal on sand colored canson paper. I loved this photo from a travel brochure of India/China...so I made a charcoal drawing from it.

Charcoal on Charcoal

Just completed this one yesterday-10" x 8" oil on canvas.
I found a bunch of photographs I took years ago,and I realized I could make paintings out of them too. This is my "oldest"-Charcoal looking at some of my own paintings I had propped up against a wall-he really was posing like that!..hehe
